As I am in transition right now, I decided to consult some books for inspiration, support and knowledge. One of the first books I turned to was Practically Posh: The Smart Girl’s Guide to Glam Life by my friend Robyn Moreno. This book is a great read: full of both fun and useful tips for your career, your home and even your travels and social life.
One of the little tidbits she mentioned in the career section was a women’s business magazine called Pink. Pink’s most recent manifestation is as Little Pink Book, an online magazine and community. LPB is full of tips on how to get ahead in your career, while also maintaining a healthy and happy work/life balance (the almighty goal for many of us!).
Little Pink Book also empowers women by providing links to other women-powered organizations as well as sponsoring conferences that feature successful women from whom attendees can glean valuable lessons.
I think I’m going to sign up for their newsletter so I can stay up to date with the nuggets of womanly wisdom they’re dishing out.
Thanks to CEO Cynthia Good and her staff for empowering business-minded women everywhere!
